Has anyone ever played any pretty difficult classical flute/clarinet duets that are suitable for a competition or recital? I have found a few in catalogs, but since I can't preview most of them, I'm finding it difficult picking something out. Any suggestions would be very helpful!
Thanks,
Becky :o)

Rubank puts out two volumes of flute/clarinet duets. Volume I is easy to medium while Volume II is medium to advanced. These should be available in stock at most band instrument msuic stores (not the guitar/keyboard music stores).
The ones in volume II should provide some real challenges.

Try Choros #2 for flute and clarinet by Villa-Lobos. Great recital piece.

Try Tarantella by Saint-Saens. It's for flute, A clarinet, and orchestra.
