Fill me in, folks. I'm a total new guy. Inherited my father's old E & S, grenadilla, Buffet-Crampon, clarinet. Overhauled. Lovely condition. Serial no K2531.
Dad used to say, "It's a Buffet!" (with great pride).
I know nothing about the instrument. Fill me in??
:-)

This is the thread that I started asking the same question about MY E & S with a serial # starting with "K".
I was a bit misinformed, but as you read down you'll get the idea that it basically is a predeccesor to what is now known as the E13, a high intermediate, just sub-"pro" model.
Happy reading!
Alexi
Retired, playing more sax than clarinet, but still playing clarinet and still loving it!
