I wanted to let you know that I had a good transaction with the seller on the classifieds page known as "saxaholic" (email walternak8@yahoo.com)
I purchased the Selmer 10G that he had listed for $800. He described it accurately (former cracks, pinned). Whether it was or wasn't formerly owned by the chairperson of Rowan university I do not know, but information like this is easy to check into (with a quick email). It sounded good, I took the chance and bought it, and am happy with the purchase. Also included I received a vintage Gigliotti mouthpiece (made off of an otto link blank, which from further research is bored out of hard rubber rather than molded like most of today's mouthpieces). Which also plays very well.
He responded to emails in a timely fashion, answering every one of my questions without attitude and with an explanation when necessary, and shipped right after payment was received.
So I'm happy, and wanted to pass the word that this guy gets a good vote from me and that if you're considering one of the items he's selling (I did a google on his name and email and found he also sells through one or two other classified sites), I expect you can have a good experience as well.

Disclaimer - although I purchased through him, I received no compensation for posting a favorable review. This was out of the happiness of a deal gone well.
