I have a 1961 Buffet Proffesional clarinet. I was wondering what type of wood was used in its construction. Thanks.

I'm not a Buffet owner/player, we have many here!, [please someone respond], but its most likely that your cl is "grenadilla" [African Blackwood, mpingo and other names over the years]. Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
