I have a wonderful old 1958 buffet R-13 that sounds super, however, during the last overhaul the screws got chewed up and I would like to replace them all. Does anybody have a source for these screws. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Kurt

Any good woodwind repairman should have a whole box of these as the Buffet is one the mainstays of clarineting. The longer screws,if not in stock, can be custom made on the spot with a special little tool they have just for this purpose. Catch him in the morning before he gets real busy, humor him and bribe him with a cup of hot coffee.

As a repairman, I whole heartedly agree! However, barring this, try either Allied Supply or Ferree's.

Most likely, the hinge(long) screws will have to be custom made. Over a period of time the hinge tubing will wear, making OEM parts loose. Also there is another option, sometimes the screwdriver slots can be re-cut on the old screws.
