Exactly the same thing we've been saying on this bulletin board and elsewhere for the past few years...GBK

Is it true that Costco has decided to suspend sale of these ISOs? I hadn't heard that.

I once had a new student who (on sax) in his first lesson was having a hard time playing, but seemed quite talented and quick to pick up what I was working on with him.
So I tried the instrument - o my gawd did it leak big time!!!! It had several leaks and was basically unplayable.
So he takes the sax to the local store to get it fixed and gets a loaner horn. Comes to the lesson with the loaner horn and still has the same troubles. At that point I assumed that the problems were with the player and not as much the instrument - until I tried that one too.
It leaked just as much!!!!
So when he finally had the lesson with his instrument fixed, he suddenly turned from a pretty poor player to a very good player.
Huuuuge difference.
I compare the instrument quality to my students to trying to run track with ripped, flappy sneakers.
