I just came into possession of a Turkish Metal G-Clarinet. Does anyone have a fingering chart for this? It's an Albert-system. Also, it's seems to be playing in the key of D. Is this just the way Turkish pitch?

There should be a simple system fingering chart here:
http://www.wfg.woodwind.org/clarinet/
Look under Albert/Oehler...it's down the page a little.
When you mention that it's playing in the key of D, what do you mean? When you press the following keys, "G" should sound: T/123

If it's from Lark in the Morning, I'd recommend sending it back. The G clarinets they sell are known to be the equivalent of the Chinese klunkers or the "Indian Army" objects that appear on eBay.
If you look in the archives, you'll find some better Italian and east-European makers.
Best regards.

Ken,
I knew a guy a couple of years ago who had one of the G horns from Lark in the Morning, and it's the same make as mine, which I got from a reputable dealer of Middle Eastern instruments, etc.
Unless they've changed where they get their horns, Lark _can_ be an ok place to get certain things....but there are some items they carry which are definitely "souvenirs" and NOT "instruments"!
