Hi,
All too often, all of us on this BB see very sad and discouraging stories about very poor customer service particularly when dealing with merchants on eBay. I'd like to tell you though about a recent experience on eBay that I hope you all enjoy hearing.
I recently purchased a new but old stock clarinet mouthpiece (an SML based on the old Riffault hard rubber Steel Ebonite blank) on eBay. The merchant's name is Steve and he is doing business as the Ideal Music Merchandise Company.
I had a slight delivery problem - I will not bother you will the details - but brought it to Steve's attention by email. Within an hour or two, we had exchanged several friendly communications and had quickly resolved the matter. In addition, Steve did me a very nice turn as well.
So, if you see something on eBay posted by stevel34747w96 in any of the music sections, bid with confidence that you will be getting excellent merchandise but more importantly, outstanding customer service.
Thanks, Steve.

Same here! I've had three clarinets from cpaok, among them being my Leblanc LL, which is currently the 'chosen one' in my collection - a dream to play! I'd buy from him again anytime

Hi,
I purchased a Leblanc Noblet from shearn3 on Ebay 2 years ago and it's been a great buy - he was very friendly and helpful - I'd definitely buy from him again.
There really are some good folks trading on there - you just need to check them out as best you can through the feedback function and as most folks realised negative feedback is bad for business so they tend to try to avoid it at all costs and trade fairly.
Happy bidding
Sue

Steven is not only friendly, but also not stupid! He did not sell me a saxophone under price... I offered him 120 for Amati tenor sax...
I am so UNHAPPY... :(

Not quite "Ebay", however I just had a successful purchase through the classifieds. Brenda Siewart of Clarinet Grammy sent me a mouthpiece refaced by Walter Grabner. Sent it RIGHT after payment, I received it, it played like a dream and I'm making it my primary mouthpiece. All with great contact before, during, and after the purchase.
So in EBAY talk, "Great purchase, great contact, A+++ seller. Recommend."
