How much difference does the Barrel make to the sound? i play R-13's and have just the standard barrel on them. I noticed buffet do a chadash or moenig model. Anyone know anything about this?

Barrels can make a tremendous difference. Generally, the custom barrels can aid in focussing the sound, improving tuning and giving a different timbre. There have been dozens of discussions about this topic. Do a search on topics like barrels, Chadash, Moennig, and you'll find more info than you will ever need to know.

barrel bore, Backun barrel, Moennig Swiney - GBK ]

I am honored to be mentioned along with the likes of Mr. Click.
You neglected to mention Mr. Power.
Seriously, I have compared notes(sic) on barrels via email with Walt Grabner (great mouthpieces by the way), and with Dr. Henderson of Doctorsproducts/Forte/Powerbarrel. I conversed (by phone) with Morrie Backun, and purchased one of his barrels and a bell for Eb ( recently mentioned in another thread).
The topic is complex. Helmholz equations notwithstanding, the process often comes down to microscopic manipulations and trial/error/success.
