 Can you name this?

I'm trying to identify a clarinet my sister let me borrow. I know she got it in Germany about 30 years ago. It is a wooden clarinet and has a marking on it that starts with what looks like an upsidedown omega symbol (or a "U" with arrows pointing downward from the top of the "U") followed by the letters, "OSS". I was thinking one of you clarinet experts out there may be able to identify what I have.

In the German Fraktur typeface, a capital V can look like an upside down omega. If so, the name would be VOSS.
