 Elgar 2nd Symphony: E Flat part

Does anyone know this part and can comment on how difficult/interesting it is?

This is one of the best 20th century symphonies ... IMHO ... the e-flat part is only moderately difficult and not particularly exposed. The opening movment (9/8?) rocks along after a delicious semi-dactylic up beat. There are plenty of semiquaver (16th note) florid arpeggio passages for the effer in unison with the flutes and piccolo. It's a sadly neglected work and I'd LOVE to hear an American orchestra recording (havn't found one yet).

Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.
