Well, I haven't seen this posted previously so will pass it along for what it's worth. Holding clarinet sections while working on them can be a problem. I find that a piece of 2 inch "wedge" sound insulation foam works great for me. I "glued" it to a piece of particle board and it works great.

Velly interesting, BobD, I've "chased" joints around, and so far just have used "mattress" foam [polyurethane] as the "cushion-holder". Will try. Pro-repairer comments, Pliz? Don
