Mr. Dow,
I noticed that you are principal clarinet of Symphony NB, which I take to be New Brunswick. I will be traveling through Maine, NB and Nova Scotia next week and wondered if there are any unusually interesting music stores (sheet music/instruments) in your area that you would recommend.
Many thanks,
Anders Hansen

The closest excellent music store is actually in Moncton...this is Music Stop and is downtown. In spite of it's size SJ does not have any really decent music stores for wind players..
Halifax has the largest store which is Music Stop on Cunard Street...
as to sheet music there are a few dealers in Halifax...Lawley's Music is one that comes to mind!
Happy shopping!

Thanks, David!
I was actually feeling a bit sheepish for bothering you with this. I appreciate your response, and I'll try to visit all these places. I'm always on the lookout for unusual music, instruments, etc. and this will give some direction to the trip. (I'm also visiting Dave Wimberly, an excellent flute maker in NS).
Looking forward to exploring this part of the world.
Best,
Anders
