Hiya, I've been playing clarinet for 3 years now, and I need help on figuring out on how to play note that are on the keys towards the bottom of the clarinet, you know, like the C key. I'm working on a song called Top Gun Anthem, and I need to memorize it and play it perfectly for my band within tomorrow.. I was wondering if any of you could help me work on this in a way, like having any tips. Please, and thank you!

Make sure that your ring finger of your right hand is low enough to cover the low G hole. Typically students are too upwards on that hole and not covering it - so the low F (your C key you called it) can't possibly come out.

Aha! David. Was temporarily confused by the "C" key designation but then realized(?) we are talking about the old Langenus fingering chart. But,David, how did you know what S was talking about? And if S is really having a problem with "low F" (or F#?) maybe it's a key adjustment problem??
