Evette Clarinet

My daughter has obtained a Evette clarinet by Buffet and Crampon Paris France. Serial #D10573. Wood. Can anyone tell me about the quality of this instrument etc.? My daughter is a begining player.

I did do a search, but could not find out how to tell how old an Evette/Buffet Master Model is by the serial number - can you help?

I don't think there's a listing for age - many companies didn't keep track of the serial numbers by year; however, you asked for opinions about quality.

I did a search also, there seemed to be a lot about the Master Model. This clarinet does not appear to be one.
