I am planning to play the William Bolcom Concerto on my senior recital in January and I'm having a little trouble getting a feel for some of it, in particular the first movement (I love the last movement!). The only recording available comes in a $100 set from the New York Phil. If you or someone you know has a recording (a recital recording would be fine...I would just like to hear it in context with the accompaniment) would you let me know? I would appreciate it a lot!
Thanks!

Sorry Robyn, looks like the Drucker/NYPO/Slatkin is the only recording on Bolcom's discography.

Robyn --
Have you tried your local public library (or nearby college/university library)?
They likely won't have the CD set, but may be able to locate it and obtain it through an inter-library loan program. Even if there's a fee, it should be much less expensive than buying the set.
