I just came back from Finland where I thought i might find a recording of the Crusell clarinet duets. No such luck. I haven't been able to find a reference in any of the catalogues I've consulted over here (in France). Does anyone know of a recording in the US?

Only recording of any of the Crusell duets that i know of is the "Rondo" (actually the 2nd & 3rd movements of the Second duet arranged for 2cl and piano), by Kjell-Inge Stevensson on his CD "The Vituoso Clarinet". I used to have the beginning of this as my background sound on my webpage.
-Side Note- I will probably be playing this arrangement on my recital in March. Along with the Rossini-Intro, Theme & Var., Rozsa-Sonatina, Weber-Grand Duo Concertante, Brahms-Sonata, Op.120, no.2, and another smaller piece yet to be decided.

Dave,
I have fragmentary sheet music for Crusell's "Progressive Clarinet duets" -- the first in F published by a company called Hinrichsen, the second in D (plus an Andante and allegro vivace) that I found on Oliver Seeley's site on the clarinet pages. I like them so much, that I was hoping to find a recording of them all, hence my question whether anyone had heard of one.

Barry,
I have only a recording of the duo II in C major. It is a rather old recording (1975) of the Label Jecklin Musikhaus, CH-8024 Zurich, Switzerland, number JD 578-2 (Jecklin Edition), played by Hans Rudolf Stalder and Heinz Hofer.
I assume that this CD is still deliverable.
