It's driving me crazy. It's a clarinet solo with orchestra. I swear my friend here at school played it, but I can't remember the title.
All I remember is that it is on the American Express Gold commercial.
And I made a midi of the first part I can remember!! It's not that great. So if anyone can recognize it, please tell me what it is!!

Thanks!

The opening of the second movement (Vivace non troppo) of Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 ("Scotch").
Best regards,

That's become a song?? I'm astounded. I jest ... remember a song is intended for voices and a piece for instrumentalists (I generalise). Also, the term Scotch is kind of correct, bearing in mind that Mendelssohn used the term in German, not in English. Also ... isn't a scotch a drink?
Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.

Or in the case of Scotch, I guess knowing is half the bottle.

Never, ever, drink whiskey that is under 12 years of age!

I agree with Mark Pinner wholeheartedly ... the older the scotch the better.
