It was originally on a Phillips LP - Philips 442 149-2.
I don't think it ever made it to CD (but I may be mistaken), or if it did, most likely it is out of print. ...GBK

If it's the one your asking about, I have a Philips CD of the above pieces with Wright and the Boston Symphony Chamber Players, # 442 149-2 if that helps. I bought it within the last several years at a local shop. I don't know if it's still available. Great CD by the way!

Having studied with Harold Wright for a considerable period of time I believe that there is a recording on Boston Records of this work as well..I do know from Mr. Wright that he did make a record of this for Boston records or a private label of some sort...
I was also very lucky to have been coached by him on this piece and can honestly say he really knew this work like no other clarinet teacher I ever met....sadly enough it seems also pretty hard to find a complete recording of the Mozart quintet as well of his. I had the Mozart with the CBS records version done with the Malborough Quartet. It was incredible...his tonal approach and sound was something that had to be experience live..it had a core and ring which really amazed me. Very few clarinet players can produce such incredible sonority of sound and then phrase with it in so poetic a manner. I remember the mouthpiece he used which he showed me at a lesson...it was pretty old and beat up looking. There was a groove at the bottom of the table when the bottom of the reed sits!!!
It was really nice to see others mentions Mr. Wright on the BB.

Wright's wife, along with, I think, Timothy Paradise, edited and published Wright's marked music (mostly chamber music parts), including the Brahms Quintet. I got them from Gary van Cott. Wright's markings take some deciphering, but they have a wealth of material on his approach to phrasing.

Boston 1005 is the two Brahms Sonatas, plus the Schumann Fantasy Pieces. Unfortunately, the Brahms Quintet has still not been reissued.
