Any suggestions for a clarinet solo with chamber orchestra that would be appropriate for a holiday concert. It does not have to be "holiday" music, but should be easy listening.

There's an orchestrated version of the Finzi Bagatelles but I'm not sure how easily available it is. It would be just the right mood.

The Concertino by Tartini, arranged by Gordon Jacob, is originally for clarinet plus strings, but like the Finzi, it's the piano version that's more readily available. Hopefully a little research might track it down.

Willam the Conqueror not only won the battle of Hastings,
he mentions a fine piece ...Tartini
I learned this piece...it is fun, very musical, and still demanding in a Mozartian sort of way (notes are easy, but deceptively hard to do correctly in the right style). Boosey Hawkes has the score.
I heard a Galper recording, loaned to me by one of his former students....lyrical to say the least.
