 Seattle Symphony

Schwartz is in Mass., New Jersey, and N.Y. this week, concluding with a concert in Carnegie Hall. I would like to hear reactions to their performances from anyone who attends any of these concerts. How do they sound to you condertgoers who are familiar with the sound of the great orchestras of the East?

I had the honour of hearing the Seattle Symphony about 4 years ago when I was "stood up" on a date (work related) by an ex-pat Aussie ... I headed off to hear them instead. I'd not heard the orchestra before that time (live that is) but owned a couple of their recordings. I think they're a fine band.

Surely SOMEBODY on this board has heard the Seattle Symphony during their tour.

Or maybe not. Could they be following Thumper's mother's advice?
