The Harold Wright/Luis Battle CD is quite good: Boston Records (BR1023 CD). I believe I bought this through Amazon.com. It's part of his live recital series (no. 1); includes pieces of Debussy, Martinu, Poulenc, and Lutoslowski.
I do wish that the old Selmer LP with Ulysse Delecluse were available--although my memory may play tricks on me, I believe that it had the Gallic drive that I love in this piece and the Poulenc.
The address for Boston Recors is 80 Island Creek Road, Duxbury MA 02332; telephone 781-934-0411; FAX 781-934-9017; e-mail bosrecs@idt.net; web www.bostonrecords.com

If you like Richard Stoltzman, try his version of it on his CD Romance under the RCA Victor Red Seal label. I'm not sure if BMG sells it (they are on the web).

I have a recording with Karl Leister and Ferenc Bognar. It is "Par Excellence - French Music for Clarinet", Camarata Label 30CM-415. Also included is music of Debussy, Poulenc, Widor, Milhaud, and Francaix.

I second the Leister recording. An excellent CD - and I love his tone! Plus, "Par Excellence" includes the most popular French clarinet music - money well spent.

Now I know I'm going to like this CD when it comes in the mail. Thanks for making me impatient in getting this in the mail, guys.
