I just got the '75 Stoltzman/Tashi recording of the Messiaen quartet this week. It may be 50 minutes long, but once you start playing the CD, somehow you just can't leave until all 8 songs are over...

Another great musical discovery for me...

Check out the new book advertised in the Clarinet Magazine by Rebecca Rischin.
It's about the history of the composition and premiere.
