After everybody here is telling me how bad my mouthpieces are ;-), I recently found a dealer in germany who is actually offering a 40% discount on every "non-standard" MPC, so I ordered a Pomarico Ruby for checking it out.
I played I think at all 8 crystal MPCs during the last months, so I've got a good base for comparisons.
1. Every crystal MPC I played, vibrates really strong, from my impression like a metal tenor sax MPC and I asked myself if this is really comfortable to play, but "my" one vibrates much lesser then a common clarinet MPC.
The intonation is really good with this mpc, it has a fine response, but it's quite different to any other crystal mpc in terms of vibrations, is it ok or should I send it back????
2. Every checked crystal mpc had a mpc cushion on it, perhaps better because of the vibrations. On my mpc there is no chance to use a cushion, i clean it properly, I stuck a new cushion (different models) on it and after at least 5 Minutes it slips away no chance to stuck it to the mpc.
OK, it vibrates much lesser then any other mpc, but it's very "slippery" w/o a cushion.
Can someone shed a light on it. Btw. I hope I find the right words, it's not so easy to talk about playing clarinet for the first time.

The vibrations are just your teeth vibrating. Crystal will probably make your teeth vibrate much more than hard rubber since it is a very hard material. The purpose of the cushion is not only for comfortability (to lesson the vibrations in your teeth) but also to keep your teeth from wearing down (crystal is much harder and it will wear away at your teeth if you don't have a buffer inbetween). I've had no problem with cushions sticking on. So long as they surface is very clean and not wet.
To lesson vibrations, you can use a thicker cushion. Let the cushion stick on for a while before playing it. Perhaps you just need to give it a little time to adhere. If worst comes to worst, use electrical tape (a little trick that I use when testing new mouthpieces so I don't scratch them up).
Pick the one that SOUNDS/FEELS the best to play and don't base your choice on vibrations.

Congratulations on advancing to Pomarico. They make the finest MPCs I've ever played. As far as vibrations.....I'm not sure what you mean. I've not experienced that phenomenon. I just find that crystal is a wonderful conductor of sound. Enjoy it.....and send a thank you to Riccardo Clerici at Pomarico. He is a a wonderful person....and third generation mouthpiece maker......
