 Loveri Clarinet
Author: coasten1

My coworker showed me her clarinet from years ago. It is a Loveri. Does anyone know of this brand? The serial number is R1734. We would like to find out if there is any value in it.

The wood appears to be in good condition. It pretty much needs an overhaul to play again (new corks, pads, springs) It would be good to know if it has value because I would like to do the servicing myself unless it is worth something. In that case, I would suggest a professional overhaul.

Any help is appreciated.

Lots of Loveri metal clarinets have appeared on eBay the last few years --- probably a student-grade instrument from the '30s-'40s.
