Hi, I recently received the music for Variations on a Korean Folk Song by John Barnes Chance. Every copy for first part has the notes on the bottom of the second page cut off. Can anyone tell me the notes from measure 170-172 for first part for Bb Clarinet? I could probably try to figure it out but I want to be sure.
Thanks, Joshua

All notes are in concert pitch, eighth notes, and go down
measure 170: (above the staff) Ab Gb E D C Bb
measure 171: Ab Gb E D C Bb
measure 172: (below the staff) Ab
hope that helps

I don't have the reply you already received, but I just wanted to say that I personally really enjoyed playing that piece, and it's been years since I've seen the music. I still remember the licks on the first page with the Eb, F, Ab, Bb, C ascending and descending runs.
Best of luck on it, and thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Thanks a lot, Sarah. That was exactly what I needed. I guess it just repeats itself in lower octaves. I wasn't sure if it changed "varied" or not, thanks again.

Looks like you got the answer. We are playing this on Sunday for our concert.
