Fellow Aussies ... tonight at 8pm on Classic FM, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is performing a Clarinet concerto (contemporary Dutch composer I think). A fine orchestra with their principal clarinetist in the limelight. Thank god for Radio Netherlands.

The composer is Theo Loevendie. I heard it a couple of months ago on an internet broadcast from Michigan State University's radio station. Very modern. Extremely virtuosic. Enjoy.
Best regards,

Did anyone hear Harry Sparnaay with the VCA Chamber Orchestra premiering Mark Pollard's Bass Clarinet Concerto? It was on ABC Classic FM at 8pm and 10pm Monday 27th October.
I was playing in it, it was great to work with him. If anyone heard it, let me know what you thought (especially of the bassoon's intonation...).
