Yamaha "Soft Type" Mouthpiece Patches

Hello...I am trying to find a place where I may buy the Yamaha "soft type" (moyennes douces) 0.8mm mouthpiece patches. Thusfar I have only been able to purchase this specific type in person in Japan or Spain. I cannot obtain them in the US. I have spoken to people at Yamaha here in the US and they have no idea what I am talking about. The packaging is identical to the yellow card/transparent patches sold in the US but these come on an orange card and the patches themselves are orange with the deignation "soft-type 0.8mm" in the white box on the front. If any of you out there use these specific Yamaha mouthpiece patches I would love to know how to get some. Thanks!

I'm not positive about that specific type you're talking about, but at my local Sam Ash megastores (I'm lucky enough to live close to two- oh joy) they carry about 3 types (when they are fully stocked).

I don't remember if any of them were "soft type".

VanDoren also makes a mouthpiece patch, don't know if you've tried it and if you liked it. It works well for me
