Last spring I got an application for some contest open to woodwinds held in the New England area (in Mass or Connecticutt, I think), where for the first round for clarinet one had to submit a recording of the premiere rhapsody. I seem to recall that one had to do this by some time in September, and if selected, one competes in person (in December I think) playing some sort of short recital (including the taped work), with the chance to win several thousand dollars.
This summer I was in the process of moving, and I can't find the application anywhere.
If this competition rings any bells, please point me in the right direction (I have allready searched the internet through various search mechanisms, and looked on various music sites like musical chairs, but still can not find it).
Thank you.

Similarly, if anyone knows about any contests at all, please let us know! I plan on doing the ICA contest in 2004, but other than that, I don't know of any other ones.
Thanks

My university in Colorado holds a woodwind competition for clarinet, flute, and sax. I don't know if this falls under promotion or not. Email or IM me for details.

The Fishoff Chamber competetion held at Notre Damn in South Bend Indiana is a great competetion. It's for chamber music, woodwind quintets or whatever.
