I ordered some from Muncy winds. At first, I really liked these reeds, and disagreed with GBK's original assesment of the 56's. However, I haven't been able to get them just the way I would prefer. I personally still prefer the V12s. Last week I pulled out some of the FoF reeds that I threw in my cigar box(excess reeds box) and was amazed. The FoF reeds played better a year later than they did when I first received them. I have not played on either the Gonzales or the 56s in concert yet, but would feel much more comfortable with the Gonzales reeds over the 56s. I felt that I could not get enough volume out of the Gonzales, but for some reason they are working now very well. The stars must be aligned just perfectly!

There is a bit of a case for aging some types of reeds. Lavoz reeds for example are better if you take them out of the packaging and leave them for a few months or longer to dry, they come out of the original box a bit green. The cigar box may be absorbing more moisture.
