tv shows re-written and re-cast with BB members
Author: wjk

It has occurred to me that certain TV shows would be a real blast if re-written with clarinet themes and re-cast with BB regulars. For example, Seinfeld could be re-done with Kramer as a clarinet player. Maybe he has invented the "world's best ligature," and is scheming to get all clarinetists to buy one. Who would play Kramer? Any other ideas?

Mark C would be george! GBK would be Seinfeld!

The castaways on Gilligan's Island would spend each episode making reeds from materials at hand and complaining about how hard it is to get good reeds.

No offense.

The Many Loves of Eddie Daniels?

Leave it to Stoltzman?

I Dream of Sabine Meyer?

Moving to Broadway, how about "The Odd Couple" with Robert Marcellus and Artie Shaw?

On the other hand, if this doesn't offend you, get help.

The Sopranos...no explanation needed

Charlie Bay's Angels.....starring Sabine, Michele, and Thea

My Mother the Mouthpiece....second thought, make that my Mother-in-law the mouthpiece.

Bay Watch.....a group of clarinets sit around and wait for Bay to send them
a mouthpiece...and wait and wait (like for Godot)

and..on the movie channel...a remake of The Philadelphia Story.

Against the windmills of my mind
The jousting pole splinters

Dee........Beverly Crusher

And Katrina...you yourself could be Troi.
