I just bought a K&M (konig and Meyer) bassclarinet/bassoon stand. This stand not only works for the bass clarinet and a bassoon but for the contra alto and contrabass clarinets as well. You can buy one at www.wwbw.com

I found this extreamly useful. I now do not have to worry about my contra when im playing something else if you know what I mean
