How does this model compare to the standard R13 A?
I know the register vent has been moved up slightly to improve the left hand 12th ratios. Any other 'improvements'? I searched this site, but haven't found much info on the Vintage A.
I've made some enquiries here in Sydney and there's not one example of this model available to try (Vintage Bb's yes, A's no).
Thanks
K

The "improvements" (?) to the Vintage A include moving the register tone hole 1 mm higher, a 1 mm longer bell, cylindrical A and Ab throat tone holes, larger thumb tone hole to improve the F#, and the D/A tone hole moved 1 mm lower.
It also has an adjustable thumb rest, 2 barrels (poly-cylindrical/double conical) and double skin pads (instead of Gore-Tex®) ...GBK
