I was looking at the wwbw website and they have this term for type, new B stock or used C stock.....it explains the condition the instruments are in. I wonder if it's safe to purchase these instruments...since it explains them to have dent/nicks or scratches....do they not have new instruments....if anyone has experience with this.....can you clue me in....and if I were to decided to purchase a instrument in well condition which type should i get.....??

The last time I reviewed their B stock items I felt they were overpriced....

I bought a used Selmer Series 10 Full Boehm from their Used selection last year...
I didn't think that particular thing was overpriced, and it is in great shape, with only a few "love marks" on it...
As far as shopworn/playtested stuff from them...I have no idea...

The wwbw has brand new instruments, as well as different "grades" of used instruments (B/C stock). I've never ordered from WWBW, but I look at the site a lot. You might also want to check their LeBlanc clarinets. They are having a closeouts on Opuses and Concertos, and these are brand new instruments, just reduced in price. Hope this helps a little...

I've tried a B-stock Patricola Bb clarinet from WWBW. I returned it because i didn't care for it particularly, though it was a lovely instrument. There was nothing "wrong" with it, just some scuff marks on the case and the instrument was a tiny bit shopworn.
