 removing lig scratches on mouthpiece

there are some tiny little scratches on th eback of my new mouthpiece. how can i remove them? with sandpaper??

Definitely not with sandpaper. Maybe toothpaste or dental polish.
If they are that tiny why worry about them? There will be more as time goes by....

Rub vigorously with Kleenamint, or other mildly abrasive toothpaste. Polish with olive oil. Provided the scratches are not too deep, you won't see a thing.
