Hey Everyone! I have given both of my clarinets names and I know that some of the people in my band at school have named their instruments, too. I'm just wondering, have any of you named your clarinet? And, if so, what have you named it?

Mine has several names depending on how much it likes me at a given moment and what sort of a mood its in or what sort of a mood I'm in.

Hi Brittany.
We just had the "What gender is your clarinet" thread (almost the same as this one) a couple of weeks back, so for now let's hold off on doing essentially the same things again so soon.
If you go check the history of this BBoard you'll find this one comes up at least every couple of months. I don't mind all that much, but it needs to remain a couple of months apart each time.
Perhaps posting this again late next month would be soon enough. In the meantime enjoy the other postings.
We'll leave this thread closed now - please, no more postings until late next month. If you want to add to the "What gender is your clarinet" posting from a few weeks ago, please do.

My old clarinet's name was Marcellus. My new Prestige is named Preston since it's my middle name.
