 Pichard B-flat clarinet (Paris)

I recently acquired a Pichard B-flat clarinet, made in Paris. Does anyone have any info. on this company and their clarinets? I've been able to find out nothing, except for a Pichard in France who had a patent on reeds in the 1930's. Is it possilble that this was made by another manufacturer and the Pichard signature was put on it? Thank you,
