This previously discussed: the "ebay" request form for credit card info is back. Got one this past week which I forwarded to Ebay and, as a result, now have new User ID and Password. The request looked good, but beware: It ain't. Chuck

Thanks Chuck. It's good to have a "heads up" on these types of things. I get all kinds of things like this via email everyday. Verify everything before participating in something asking for vital information. I have a "firewall" on my computer that catches credit card info--but that doesn't eliminate my need to be wise in how I answer things like the one you mentioned.

Thanks for the reminder, Chuck. I got a similar 'request' for credit card/password from eBay's "PayPal" about a week ago and forgot to post a Heads Up here. I just deleted it and forgot about it... until now :
If it looks 'funny' these days, I don't even bother to open 'em. Just delete it. Once you've registered, eBay will not ask you again for any personal information.
Thanks again, Chuck. It's wise to be informed - then act on it.
