Trills ? some start on the note above why? and the trill before G in the III movement the adagio starts on f# need fingering for it F#-G# is awkward.Another trill question Scotish Dances by malcolm Arnold another F#-G# trilland C#-D#trill need a fingering on my r-13 for those two.First on starts on top line of staff, second one is highC#-D#

Have another look at your part for Tartini - trill in bar before G is not an F# -G# trill. Starting on note above for trills was common convention in early music - embellishments might stray from this convention however.

In real Tartini, the trills will always start on the upper note. In Tartini arranged by Jacob (which the "Tartini" clarinet concerrto is), I'd say start on the lower note unless the score makes it obvious that you start on the upper one.

trills from above because baroque music is like that. it suits the music better. Fill in some of the quavers with semis to make it more characteristic of the period.
