Chedeville Mouthpieces

Are there two types of Chedeville mouthpieces, Henry and Charles? Anyone know details about differences, history, etc.?

I believe Herni was the first, started making mouthpieces in France, then moved to Philly around 1910-20. After he died or retired, Charles, the son or Nephew took over, using the name to mass produce them. The Henri Chedeville mouthpieces are some of the finest mouthpieces ever made. I have had the chance to play a few and own one, and I have to say they are fantastic. The Charles Chedeville mouthpieces are not as good in my opinion. Some of the older Charles Chedevilles play well with some refacing, but most just arent up to the quality of the Henri. Some people say that the materials used by Henri are what made them so good, who knows. Thats all I know, can anybody add to that?
