 Brilhart update
Author: John Gibson

I recently posted a question regarding my Brilhart Personaline MPC.
It was squeeking. Solved the problem. Used a way softer reed. Mitchell Lurie Premium #2 and the squeeking stopped. However, my normal "air flow" to play is greatly reduced. I guess there's a lot less resistance. Just thought I'd update you. Have a great weekend.

When you change down to a softer reed you need to re-balance your airflow. If you work at it you will find that after a while that you will be able to put more air through the instrument. It actually requires embouchure adjustment that comes with familiarity. It is quite difficult to swap between 2 set ups but it can be done.
