Comments  Very challenging 4-movement work, using serial techniques. Has some lovely bassoon solos (bassoonist needs to read treble clef for third movement). Haven't performed the work but would like to.

Comments  I've only performed Quintet No. 2, which is very challenging technically, especially for the clarinet, but the Oboe gets the best solos! Excellent piece for both performers and audience. A fantastically innovative work.
