Ripamonte G Clarinet opinions?

Hello all,

Does any body have experience with the Ripamonte G Clarinet? Own one? Played one? Heard one?

And does anyone know of other sources of Boehm system G clarinets?

Thanks Ralph,

I contacted Orsi thru their website. They said their Boehm G is made to order. Cost is 6,200 Euro. That's a bit too rich for me. I did hear a number of good comments about their quality tho.

I'm continuing to investigate Ripamonte

Hi Ralph, I'm new to this forum so what I can tell you about Ripamonti is a bit late. I got a beautiful G Clarinet from Ripamonti, the wood is top grade and the key work very sound. My interest in buying it was kind of a lark, I used it on and off for some time but no longer do so, so I'm thinking of selling it, lt me know if you have any interest in it, thanks, Jim Stoynoff

Just saw your post now - I don't look every week. And, this thread started 8 years ago. But, at this juncture, Katrina will make better use of a G clarinet than I will.
