So anyway back to the C clarinet. IMO C clarinet I have a Leblanc opus and a cuesson. The Leblanc is pretty pricey. Just repaired a Borgani C. Tried the standard buffet prestige. Tuning wise a good quality C seems to generally be good up to a top E and then you have to look for alternate fingerings. IMO that should cover most of your church music with range to spare. Sound wise IMO if you have a good sound on a Bb it will transfer across. Chirpy feel C rocks.

Regarding brands. On a budget new I would buy an E11 Buffet. No budget go hard😀 I think the Leblanc is excellent. The Cuesson has a larger bore and is sharper in the lower register. I did a lot of reworking for key placement and design. Great fun horn to play. Borgani is surprisingly good. Feels a bit lumpy to play. Noblet Artiste is another horn that shapes up well and is at the top end.

Clarinets direct has some C's. Amatis have had a good rap lately compared to some nasty stuff in the paste. Of course there are a bunch of other brands which I have no experience with.
