NO YOU SHOULD NOT PUT IT IN WATER THAT WOULD CAUSE IT TO RUST.WHEN IT RUST THE INSTRUMENT WOULD BE DINGY AND HARD TO PLAY.SOON YOU WOULD PROBABLY NEED A NEW ONE.
