Hello everyone,
The Orford Arts Centre, located is pleased to present its annual Wind Octet Workshop, back for a seventh year, from June 20 to July 2 2016. Located in the Eastern Townships, the Orford Arts Centre is 75 miles east of Montréal, 250 miles north of Boston, MA and 400 miles north of NYC.
In addition to the Octet rehearsals, coachings and concerts, this year's session will include health seminars, repertoire reading sessions, audition preparation training, and lessons and master classes with the guest artists.
This year's faculty members for the Octet Workshop are:
Richard Killmer - professor of oboe, Eastman School of Music
James Campbell - professor of clarinet, Indiana University
Stéphane Lévesque - principal bassoon, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal
James Sommerville - principal horn, Boston Symphony Orchestra
