Kathryn Potter has dedicated numerous "flower" compositions to numerous oboists in the USA and around the world..... mostly Facebook acquaintances. Here is the one she dedicated to me plus one she had not dedicated.

CHALLENGE: a couple of you on the BBoard also have dedicated tunes.... how about doing the same? If you are of a level closer to the beginner's stage, all the better: this will form a kind of community and show the progress WE ALL make over the years!
A nasty recording attempt a few weeks ago kind of shattered my comfort zone...... the season change-over messed up my reeds and might have also altered the instrument's stability. These tunes seemed a good way to approach the microphone again.

Quite right.
As I mention on the blog, I get to pick and choose what I play and reject!
Kathryn is one in the great international oboe community who reaches out to all players of all levels and all styles to promote the great variety of the instrument.
