fraudulent clarinet supply site

Hi,

I wondered if I could let you know about a clarinet supply site online that I have used that seemed to be fraudulent, just to avoid others finding out the hard way?

I'm reconditioning an old bass clarinet, and I just tried to buy bass clarinet pads from this online shop:

When the payment page came up, it gave no indication of what the
delivery charge would be. Then when I tried to pay, my bank wrote and
said that it was a fraudulent transaction. The bank has stopped the
transaction and cancelled my credit card, and I've to wait for two
weeks for another one to come in the post.

I looked at the site in more detail and the page I was buying from seems to be a screen-scrape from the legitimate clarinet supply shop https://www.ferreestoolsinc.com/. I think they must be just copying stuff from other websites and trying to capture people's credit card details.

When I look deeper, ferneaic.shop is not a specialist shop and has items from all different areas of retail.

I just wondered if I could mention, so others can avoid finding out the hard way?

Separately, I'm finding that clarinet pads seem to be in really short supply, with many shops out of stock of a lot of sizes. No idea why, but it does drive people into the hands of these dodgy sellers. I'm starting to take careful note of which are the decent suppliers.

Equipment: Yamaha Custom CX Bb, Fobes 10K CF mp,
Legere Bb clarinet European Cut #2.5, Vandoren Optimum German Lig.
