Hello all,
Just so you know, ARIA reeds are coming soon. We've had difficulties during the pandemic with shipping issues, and decided to wait a while until things stabilize. Now that we've got things normalized with the post (best that we can hope for at least), we've got a new production run of over 6000 reeds just about complete.
Please know that nothing has changed, we don't plan on discontinuing ARIA. ARIA reeds remain the same in every way - same cane, same shape, same manufacturing equipment, and same playing results.
As for BRIO - these reeds are also continuing and offer a different experience for those looking for something a bit more "French" in concept/sound, versus ARIA's more germanic or home-made reed experience.
What does that mean.
Well ARIA are free, responsive, warm sounding, and offer a big easy blow-through. Basically ARIA works great for players who prefer easy blowing warmth. BRIO on the other hand are made from zingier cane; they hold the sound with a tighter center.
ARIA are more costly because we cure our blanks mid-manufacture, allowing for less likelihood of warpage which is a unique attribute within the reed industry. What you get as a result is, more stability, and great blow-through.
Thank you,
Brad
