Hello, MMS
Which brand of clarinet are you playing now?
What system is your clarinet?
Why does it not sound as you would like?
What mouthpiece and reed do you play now?

It is difficult to say what someone else should usd to get a certain sound, MMS. You should try different mouthpieces, yourself, and then select one that does well for you what you want from it.
After listening to some of Vassilis' recordings for the first time last night my "first impression" is -- they sound 'electronic' to me. Perhaps I should say "electric", because he sounds very "Vibrant". Maybe he uses special recording setup/equipment ? - I don't know. His sound, to me, is like he's using a medium to soft reed and maybe a medium to open tip mouthpiece. I do not know for sure, of course, but that is my guess. His sound is very smooth and well articulated - certainly, an accomplished musician... whatever setup he's using.
I'm hoping someone will post more information about his technique. I, too, am intrigued by his sound and technique.
My first thought about *your* instrument, MMS, is that you should use the barrel that should have been included as a "unit" when you bought it. Why do you feel you need to change the barrel? The mouthpiece will make a far greater difference in your sound than a different barrel. At least, that's my understanding from many posts here and many clarinet players I've talked to in past years.
Best wishes to you, MMS, and I hope you will find a good combination, reed/mouthpiece, soon.
